The curriculum is still largely based on students completing textbooks and worksheets in most lessons and subjects. This results in a stronger focus on developing students knowledge and focuses on their skills.

 Children also demonstrate knowledge, skills and understanding in almost all curriculum subjects.  The school's curriculum is broad, well balanced and plans usually build in previous learning resulting in an adequate progress by most groups of students. The school also enrichces its core curriculum through an adequate range of extra curricular provision in music, art and sport.
