Mirdif Private School, Dubai was founded in 1995 as an American-based curriculum school accepting students from the age of 3 to 15 years old. In September, 2009 the school relocated to its newly purpose-built campus expanding into grades 7 and 8 in September 2010 to reach the three levels of : Kindergarten, Elementary and Intermediate. The school鈥檚 educational program caters to Arabic and International expatriate students. Mirdif School implements a policy of accepting children from all nationalities and backgrounds provided they can cope with the school鈥檚 academic requirements and standards. The size of the school and the limited numbers ensure that a friendly atmosphere is maintained and that the children鈥檚 individual abilities and potential are fully appreciated. In keeping with the school鈥檚 motto the main objective of the school is to inspire 鈥渉igh ideals鈥� and motivate in children academic achievements, and to show understanding in coping with the pressures of modern life.

The school provides academic support in the form of a structured remedial program designed to solve the learning problems in class. It offers daily assistance to students who need special attention and to narrow the gap between good and below grade level students. Remedial sessions are scheduled daily in Math鈥檚 / English / Arabic and Science. For a school that motivates children to academic success, and to expect success is to make sure students achieve it consistently through a daily structured program. The school implements a variety of strategies to influence learning outcomes and help students achieve their maximum potential. All approaches have proved effective and resulted in students鈥� academic improvement and high class averages in all subjects throughout the years. Teachers employ the following learning strategies on a daily basis.
